Carlos J. Corea started with Matson Consulting in 2021 in his current role as a Business Researcher and Writer where he examines and provides pertinent information on information relating to agribusiness, strategic planning, and grant development. In May of 2019, Carlos graduated from the University of South Carolina Aiken with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and minor in Communications. Carlos is currently seeking a Masters in Teaching Degree from the University of South Carolina Columbia with an expected graduation date of May 2021.
In 2017, Carlos worked as a Relationship Manager for Bank of America. During that time, he gained experience in accounting, relationship building, and banking regulatory practices. Carlos has worked at various positions at Bank of America throughout Augusta, GA, Aiken, SC and Columbia.
As a United States Army veteran, Carlos continues to serve in his capacity as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in the US Army Reserves stationed in Fort Gordon, GA. As a certified Army Instructor, he works with soldiers on a full range of networking projects including leadership, technical skill, tactical expertise and experience needed to lead squad-size units. Carlos brings his Language and Composition background as well as his technical military expertise to his work in researching and crafting regulatory and grant documents in an effort to support local businesses and communities.
