Colorado State University works extensively with the state’s agricultural industry to help farmers of all levels succeed. The College of Agricultural Sciences not only provides educational opportunities for the state’s future agriculturalists but also conducts numerous research programs such as soil improvement and a hands-on winery operation for students. Alongside these opportunities, the CSU Extension works to bring its knowledge and expertise into the community. The extension agency works to support beginning farmers, as well as programs geared towards small scale and urban agriculture.
