Jacob Tedder is an experienced financial specialist at Matson Consulting with expertise in creating financial projections and securing grant funding for clients. Jacob has secured over $2.75 million in grant funding for more than a dozen clients while providing comprehensive financial consulting services to many types of agribusinesses since joining the team in 2022.

Jacob exercises his analytical skills by securing USDA and state-level funding for agricultural entrepreneurs while providing clear pathways for strategic growth through business plans and feasibility studies. His organizational strengths allow him to oversee numerous projects with diverse requirements while consistently delivering superior results that exceed client expectations.
Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural & Applied Economics from the University of Georgia with dual minors in Agribusiness Management and Food and Fiber Marketing. His academic background, combined with his professional experience, has established him as a valuable resource for Matson Consulting’s agricultural clients as they work to build sustainable ventures in today’s marketplace. As a result of his diligence, Jacob was selected to serve as a judge for the South Carolina Department of Agriculture’s Advanced Entrepreneurial Program in 2024, evaluating business proposals for the next generation of agricultural entrepreneurs.
