Joel Mooneyhan started with Matson Consulting in May 2015 as a financial analyst just after finishing his degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina-Aiken. In this analyst position, Joel would develop a solid foundation in financial modeling, business planning, financial grant writing, and feasibility studies.
In 2018, Joel moved to part-time work with Matson and began his pursuit of a Master of Business Administration (with a focus in finance) from the University of Florida. In April 2019, Joel finished his MBA and accepted the position of Financial Manager upon graduation. His time in the MBA program helped him thoroughly expand his financial modeling skills, as well as greatly increasing his knowledge of strategy and financial planning. He uses these skills to assist all our clients with their financial and strategic goals.
Joel has co-authored several publications during his time at Matson Consulting including: “Feasibility Analysis of a Regional Oilseed Production and Processing Facility” and “From Barley to Beer: A Guide for On-Farm Brewing.”
