The Virginia Farm Bureau Federation is a 128,000 member organization which works to promote agriculture and the needs of farmers across the state.
As an affiliate of the American Farm Bureau Federation, the VA Farm Bureau is connected to the resources and information of a nationwide independent organization. The Farm Bureau works to assist farmers through leadership, health, and insurance programs, as well as marketing support and government lobbying.
The VA Farm Bureau holds numerous workshops and meetings, with which Matson Consulting has been a participant. Jim Matson recently spoke at the 2015 Convention on the issue of starting and running an Agricultural Development Board.
